Nootka Sound (In progress)
Where Capt. James Cook first set down on Canada's west coast. Plus the ancestral home of the Mowachaht/Muchalaht people, whom claim Nootka is a feeling not just a place, which may be an understatement, for Nootka can be a complete spiritual journey.
Most visitors of Nootka Sound & Nuchatlitz Inlet pass right through Gold River on Highway 28, 1.5 hours west of Campbell River. Highway 28 is connected to Highway 19 (the Island Highway) at Campbell River. Three blocks from the intersection you are sure to find our Campbell River shop.
