1. Gay Camp Ground on Vancouver Island

2. Bamberton Provincial Park - Bamberton Provincial Park is located south of the Mill bay ferry terminal, approximately 45 km north of Victoria. It is open year round, and has sites for both reservations and first-come first-served.

3. Cowichan River Provincial Park - Cowichan River Provincial Park can be reached from Highway 18 or from Highway 1, south of Duncan. It is open year round, offers reservation sites and is surrounded by footpaths, waterfalls and canyons.

4. Elk Falls Provincial Park - Elk Falls Provincial Park is located west of Campbell River on the Gold River Highway 28, just 2 km west of the Island Highway 19. The surrounding area offers many footpaths, fishing areas and, of course, Elk Falls itself. Reservations are accepted.

5. Englishman River Falls Provincial Park - The park is located 8 miles (13 km) south of Parksville on Southern Vancouver Island, on Errington Road off Highway 4. The Park offers beautiful walking trails, fishing areas and the falls.

6. Miracle Beach Provincial Park - Miracle Beach Provincial Park is located on the oceanfront between Courtenay and Campbell River. Campsite reservations highly recommended during the summer months.

7. Fillongley Provincial Park - Fillongley Campground is located on Denman Island which is reached by ferry from Buckley Bay, between Parksville and Courtenay. It is situated directly on the shoreline with a view of Hornby Island.

8. French Beach Provincial Park - French Beach Provincial Park is located off West Coast Highway 14, 12 miles (20 km) west of Sooke, on Southern Vancouver Island. The beachfront location of this campground offers a wide variety of wildlife viewing opportunities.

9. Goldstream Provincial Park - Goldstream Provincial Park is located 19 km from downtown Victoria, providing easy access to and from this location. There are many hiking trails as well as a Visitor Center which schedules seasonal programs such as informative lectures of the area.

10. Gordon Bay Provincial Park - Gordon Bay Provincial Park is north of Duncan off Hwy 1 onto Hwy 18. Located on the south arm of Cowichan Lake this is a great area to visit and spend time in. Reservations are accepted.

11. Juan de Fuca Provincial Park - Juan de Fuca Provincial Park is located between Victoria and Port Renfrew on Southern Vancouver Island. Some campsites are vehicle accessible, however the majority are walk in campsites nestled along the coast following the Juan de Fuca Marine Trail.

12. Little Qualicum Falls Provincial Park - Little Qualicum Falls Provincial Park is located off Tofino Highway 4, 14 km west of Parksville. The park lays along the Little Qualicum River which offers beautiful swimming locations and an impressive waterfall as well as brown trout.

13. Loveland Bay Provincial Park - Loveland Bay Provincial Park is a small camp and picnic site on the north shore of Loveland Bay on Campbell Lake. There is a boat ramp for powerboaters, canoers and kayakers. It is a great location from which to begin the Sayward Forest Canoe Route.

14. Montague Harbour Provincial Marine Park - Near the south end of Galiano Island in the Gulf Islands, Montague Harbour Provincial Marine Park was the first marine park in British Columbia.

15. Pacific Rim National Park - The Pacific Rim National Park offers a range of different camping options depending on where the intended destination lies. Campgrounds can be found along Long Beach and the Broken Group.

16. Porpoise Bay Provincial Park - Porpoise Bay Provincial Park on the Sunshine Coast is 4 km north of Sechelt off Highway 101, located at the southern end of Sechelt Inlet. The park offers a wide variety of areas for hikers, cyclists and paddlers.

17. Prior Centennial Park - Prior Centennial Campground is located on North Pender Island in the Gulf Islands. Prior Centennial is a part of the Gulf Islands National Park Reserve and offers beautiful protected sights.

18. Rathtrevor Beach Provincial Park - Rathtrevor Beach Provincial Park is located off Highway 19 south of Parksville on south central Vancouver Island. There are two adventure playgrounds and, during the summer, an open-air amphitheatre is used for interpretative park programs.

19. Saltery Bay Provincial Park - The small Saltery Bay Provincial Park comprises two separate waterfront areas on the north shore of Jervis Inlet on the Sunshine Coast.

20. Smelt Bay Provincial Park - Smelt Bay is the only provincial campground on remote Cortes Island, offering a total of 23 campsites laid out in a wonderful setting in the woods, overlooking Smelt Bay.

21. Sproat Lake Provincial Park - Sproat Lake Provincial Park is situated on the north shore of Sproat Lake, 8 miles (13 km) northwest of Port Alberni. There are numerous hiking trails, with one leading to the prehistoric petroglyph.

22. Stamp River Provincial Park - Stamp River Provincial Park is located northwest of Port Alberni on Vancouver Island. This campground is popular as a base camp for anglers fishing the Stamp River, as well people travelling to and from the Pacific Rim region.

23. Strathcona Provincial Park - Strathcona is the oldest provincial park in BC and the largest on Vancouver Island. It offers a wide range of hiking trails, lakes and falls, as well as the Comox Valley Glacier and numerous peaks.

24. Beaumont Park - Beaumont Park is a Marine Park located on South Pender Island in the Southern Gulf Islands of British Columbia. Kayaks and canoes can be launched at Bedwell Bay\'s government dock or from Medicine Beach on North Pender Island.

25. Cabbage Island - Cabbage Island is a 4-hectare marine park located off the northwest end of Tumbo Island, near the east end of Saturna Island. Outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy diving, fishing, kayaking or simply take a stroll along the inviting white, sandy beaches.

26. D\'Arcy Island - D\'Arcy Island is a tiny 83-hectare island park in Haro Strait, east of the Saanich Peninsula, off Vancouver Island.

27. Dionisio Point Park - Dionisio Point Park is situated at the northern tip of Galiano Island, at the entrance to Porlier Pass from the Strait of Georgia. This rocky headland is flanked by sandy beaches and two splendid bays.

28. Discovery Island Provincial Marine Park - Discovery Island Provincial Marine Park occupies the southern portion of Discovery Island, located near the southeast tip of Vancouver Island, 3 miles east of Oak Bay.
