Kayaking Resources

Resources > "A list of must sees" BC

1. Petroglyphs & Pictographs - A invaluable resource on how to find ancient messages sent through time. Simply drag your cursor over the map & if there is a map to view then it will pop up.

2. Bioluminescence - Bioluminescence= Light produced by a chemical reaction within an organism. Often confused with the word phosphorescence. Paddling or swimming in bioluminescent water is unforgettable. For you are amidst a sea of a glow all around you. Giving a dream

3. Chrome Island Lighthouse - One of the last human inhabited light house stations on the west coast. Chrome island is found just off the southern tip of Denman Island. The people who live there are friendly as peaches. We advise you take & offer a small gift as you visit \"their\"

4. Warmest Waters North of Baja - Desolation sound boasts the warmest waters, & all the yachts, celebrities, royalty, and the flocks of the worlds wealthiest people, prove that there is some merit to that statement.

5. Whales, whales & more whales - There are several places to spot whales traveling around the island, however few as spectacular as Robson Bight. Where you can stand on the beach & watch them go by as you flip your pancakes.
